A Lazy-T Ranch Wedding | Manhattan, KS | Adam+Natalie

Happy 1-year Anniversary to Adam & Natalie!  They celebrated their love on May 21, 2016 with a Lazy-T Ranch Wedding followed by the reception at Four Points By Sheraton in Manhattan, KS.

Adam and Natalie’s wedding day started out at the Four Points By Sheraton hotel where the ladies were getting ready.  The ladies were doing hair and make up to a hilarious 90’s music playlist.  I started the day capturing their getting ready process as well as the gorgeous details of their reception.

 

Then came Adam and the groomsmen’s turn to get ready.  They were getting ready at a separate location, The Bluemont Hotel, near the KSU campus and Aggieville.  They were full of character and kept me laughing from the start!

 

Adam and Natalie chose for their first look with each other to be as she was walking down the aisle, but Natalie wanted to do a first look with both her dad and brother as they are very special to her!  I have to say that Natalie and her dad’s first look was one of the sweetest that I’ve ever seen!  The expression on her dad’s face was priceless and his unconditional love for her truly shows.

Then we were headed to their ceremony!  It was an incredibly beautiful Lazy T Ranch Wedding — situated on top of a hill overlooking the Flint Hills Prairie and some of Manhattan.  Adam’s mother created the faux floral topiary and arch flowers, which were beautiful decorations!  As Adam and Natalie’s wedding ceremony began, everyone was full of smiles.

After the ceremony (and Adam+Natalie’s adorable high-five), we took a few bride and groom portraits in the field right next to their ceremony as the guests headed to the reception and the family gathered those for family portraits!

In between the ceremony and reception, the wedding party loaded on the stretch Hummer and we headed to K-State, where Natalie and Adam both graduated from, for a wedding party photos and a few more bride and groom portraits!

As we entered their reception, the details and decoration were breathtaking!  As guests grabbed their place card with personalized meal instructions, they headed into the reception to sign the guest record.  I have to say that their non-traditional guest book was the and most original guest book that I’d ever seen at a wedding!  They both love music, so having guests sign old records was very fitting!

To Adam+Natalie — Thank you again for trusting me to capture your wedding!  I still fondly remember each detail of your wedding day and loved laughing through the day with you two!  Happy 1-year anniversary!!
