Liquid Art Winery Wedding | Josh+Lyndsey | Manhattan, KS
Happy Anniversary to Josh and Lyndsey! They celebrated their Liquid Art Winery Wedding on April 30th, 2016. Their wedding day was nothing short of perfect. It was filled with gorgeous weather, people, decorations, and amazing emotions. Josh & Lyndsey had originally planned on an outdoor ceremony at Liquid Art Winery, however it had rained a lot the week before their wedding. They wanted to avoid the mud so they changed to an indoor ceremony which was beautiful! When I arrived at Liquid Art Winery, I was in awe of the details that Josh and Lyndsey had decorated the venue with!
The wedding day began with the ladies getting ready at the Liquid Ary Winery, while the guys worked on getting a few more things set up before they played a few games of giant Jenga and relaxed before they also got in their wedding attire.
We started photos with Josh’s groom portraits and then Josh did a first look with his mom. It’s not very often that I have groom’s do a first look with their mother, and it was such a sweet moment! They were both filled with emotion!
Then we moved to Lyndsey’s bridal portraits. I have to say that Lyndsey was a STUNNING bride! After her portraits, Lyndsey did a first look with her dad! It was yet another super sweet moment filled with emotion!
After Josh and Lyndsey’s first look with their parents, it was time for their first look with each other. This was definitely a moment that I was looking forward to capturing because I could feel their excitement and anticipation in wanting to see each other! Josh had written a sweet note for Lyndsey to read before they did their first look, and then the moment was completely filled with love as the two saw each other for the first time! Josh’s reaction was so genuine and Lyndsey’s comforting kiss made me tear up!
Since we had some extra time before the ceremony, we took some fun wedding party photos and bride and groom portraits using the backdrop and Josh and Lyndsey had set up just outside of the venue!
As guests were seated with their program, popcorn, and a beverage, it was time for the ceremony to begin. Josh and Lyndsey’s ceremony was beautifully authentic. Josh and Lyndsey were full of love and brought their guests to tears!
After the ceremony, the guests enjoyed a cocktail hour, while Josh, Lyndsey and the wedding party loaded up a cooler and hopped on the MHK Trolley where we rode through town visiting a few nostalgic places for Josh and Lyndsey. We had a blast riding the trolley and taking photos!
We arrived back at their reception where Josh and Lyndsey were announced and immediately began their first dance and husband and wife!
We were then ready for dinner to be served. They began with a wonderful prayer and I caught this sweet moment between Josh and Lyndsey!
Dinner was served and it was BREAKFAST! I don’t usually highlight what each couple served for dinner on their wedding day, but c’mon — it was breakfast! And since breakfast is my favorite meal, I couldn’t help mentioning it! The breakfast buffet was complete with everything you can imagine including breakfast pastries for dessert! I loved the unique idea of serving breakfast for dinner and I have to say that The Friendship House did an amazing job at catering this event!
Even though they had pastries available for dessert, they still had a beautifully elaborate cake and several different flavors for guests to enjoy also! Toasts followed the cake cutting — Lyndsey’s parents, the maid of honor, and the best man had everyone crying and laughing at the same time!
While the guests were busy enjoying cake, we snuck outside for a few more bride and groom portraits — we couldn’t pass up the beautiful sunset on their wedding day!
Then they were ready for they parent dances! After that they dance floor was open and their guests were ready to dance the night away!
Josh & Lyndsey — Thank you again for trusting me to capture your incredible wedding day! It has been so fun to follow your journey on Facebook and CONGRATULATIONS on the upcoming addition to your family!! I couldn’t be happier for the two of you!!
