Newborn Kane | Manhattan KS Newborn Photographer

I am a Manhattan KS newborn photographer serving Manhattan, KS as well as the surrounding areas.  When soon-to-be parents, Alya and Nick, contacted me to be their newborn photographer, I was truly honored to be trusted to capture these once in a lifetime moments!

Nick and Alya met in February 2015, a few days after Nick had returned home from deployment in Kuwait and Iraq.  They talked for several weeks before Alya agreed to go out on a date with him, but once they did, there were inseparable!  They officially started dating on March 15th, 2015.  After a few months of dating, Nick told Alya they were taking couples pictures when he surprised her and proposed!  They got married less than two months later on November 29th in Mississippi with a small ceremony including just family and close friends.

On March 15th, 2017, (also the two-year anniversary from when they started dating), their first son was ready to make his arrival. Nick was away on deployment in South Korea, but he was able to take a few days of paternity leave.  In a rush to get home from South Korea, Nick arrived to the hospital at 9:00pm with just minutes to spare — their son made his official debut at 9:24pm.

Nick and Alya knew what their first son’s name would be since their dating days.  But they didn’t decide on his middle name until after he was born.  For the middle name, they turned to family names, and finally settled on Roger, which is Alya’s dad’s first name.
